“Up until now, I’ve felt like I had a handle on lots of editing techniques but have always been a little bit mystified by the bigger picture of using them to make a photo work. Now, I can’t wait to start out on a new photo now because I feel like you’ve connected the dots!”

What You’ll Learn
Import and Organize
Import and organize your images in a fast and simple way that makes sense and makes it easy to find any photo quickly and easily. You’ll save tons of time importing your images, develop a personalized way of categorizing photos that works for you, and even learn a system for identifying your favorite images so you can see your progress from year to year.
Understand How It Works
Understand what each of the tools in Lightroom does without getting bogged down on the technical aspects of each one. You’ll know which adjustments are essential without wasting time on the others, easily choose the right tool for the job with confidence, and know all the time-saving shortcuts that will let you edit hundreds of photos in no time.
Fix Problems In Your Image
Easily fix any problems with your image and get the correct colors for a “clean edit” as the foundation so you can layer on any creative changes without worry. You’ll be able to quickly do things like clear up blemishes on portraits, declutter the composition of a landscape, fix strange color casts, and recover underexposed parts of your image.
Enhance and Create Works of Art
Bring out the best in every image with my favorite enhancement techniques. You’ll understand how to bring out hidden details in every photo, control the light in your images to add drama, draw attention to the parts of the image you want with dodging and burning, and even paint with light to make your photos pop off the screen.
So Who Am I To Be Teaching You Photography?
My name is Pete and I am a professional photographer. I work with individual clients like families and high school seniors and also shoot commercially for businesses. I’ve even had photos published in the pages and on the cover of a nationally distributed magazine.
But I Used To Be In Your Shoes…
When I first opened up Lightroom, I was already an experienced photographer. I was comfortable in the darkroom, understood exposure, and even concepts like dodging and burning.
And Lightroom still intimidated the hell out of me!
I made the mistake of trying to learn through trial and error. It took me a lot of time and a lot of crappy results before I figured out the system that I use now to create beautiful images for my portrait clients, business clients, and magazines.
Having a system for editing my photos allows the technical aspects of Lightroom fade away and I can focus instead on my creative vision for an image.
My system also makes it incredibly easy to edit a large number of photos very quickly in Lightroom and still achieve the same professional results that take others hours to get.

Try The Course 100% Risk-Free With My 30 Day Money Back Guarantee!
I recommend getting the Adobe Photography Plan that includes Lightroom and Photoshop so that you always have the most up to date version. The course uses Lightroom Classic because it is the most complete version of Lightroom currently. However, a lot of what I’ll cover in the course are skills and approaches that apply to different and older versions as well. You just may not have every feature that I talk about.
Also, since you’ll have lifetime access, when Adobe changes things (which they always do), you’ll receive any course updates absolutely free of charge.
Nope. This is a beginner’s course. We go over the basics of Lightroom so that you can get started editing your images right away without having to watch the entire course. However, there are some topics that will help you take that next step into the intermediate level as well.
If your camera takes digital photos, then you can edit them in Lightroom. But, Lightroom (and any editing software for that matter) works best if your camera can take “RAW” photos. Almost any dSLR and Mirrorless camera can do that and so can many mobile devices such as the iPhone.
No, Lightroom is an Adobe software product and must be purchased separately.
Yes. Our course system is optimized to view on any device…desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile.
